Very well written article that explains in layman's terms the nuances of AI. AI as evidence based vs human bias is already a massive barrier in its development. AI using information based on what's empirically true could change the world for the better--IF we let it.

yeah. This article is sort of naively optimistic but I wanted to make the case that AI isn't necessarily inherently conducive to disinformation. It definitely lends itself to that kind of use, and people will definitely try to use it that way. But AI that aligns with reality has a significant intrinsic advantage in accuracy and dependability. If somebody constrains their AI ideologically, they also inhibit its intelligence which hurts its competitiveness.
